The Greater Taichung Visitor Information Center, operated by the Taichung city government Information Bureau's Tourism Office, is a convenient location for picking up brochures, maps and other tourism and travel information related to Taichung city and the surrounding Greater Taichung area. The center, also a hub for planned city tours, is housed in an attractive two-level building that includes a bookstore and cafe and is next to a large public parking lot.

The center is located in the older downtown area, not far from the Taichung Railroad Station and Taichung Park, at the intersection of ZhongZheng Road and DaCheng Road.
