In response to our application to WTO Government Procurement Agreement (GPA), Taichung City Government (TCG) organized a guidance seminar “The Practical Application of GPA to Government Procurement” on July 30, 2012. Mr. Tsai Cheng-ping, Chief of Planning Section, the Public Construction Commission (PCC) of Executive Yuan, delivered a speech to explain the regulations of GPA and shared his practical experience with more than 200 participants who were the heads and the persons in charge of related affairs in TCG. The seminar was expected to enhance staffs’ professional knowledge, and additionally, increase their efficiency and quality of procurement.
