Situated at on No. 3, Zhonghe Road, Hengshan Village, Daya District, Qian-Xing Hall was built by the former county legislator Zhang Qi-San’s grandfather Zhang Ren- Zi, at the late period of the Xian Feng Emperor, of the QCing Dynasty, which makesing it over a hundredcentury years old.
The Zhangs’ Old Residence is a 3 section compound with Fu-Long on both sides and 7 gates facing outwards.. The structure is magnificent and contains with an antique tasteflavor. Its walls, windows, door and beams are still intact. The back of the residence where the ancestors of the Zhangs’ family are being worshipped, is grandeur yet simple. Pot plants and rare flowers and plants fill both sides of the inner court, looking amazing. The exterior wings are wider, filled with flowers, and plants, and lychee trees. Besides all these flowers and pots, there are also and also a lotus ponds filled with lotus flowers planted inside. When lotus blossoms, the pond is beautiful and is filled with great fragrancesmells great.
