Ching-Chuang-Kang Military Base was first the 13th Japanese medical station in the Japanese Colonial Period, and later became an airport - an important US military base in Asia during the Vietnam War. It was first stationed by air force, then armored units and Marine Corps also station in this location. The Ching-Chuang-Kang Military Base was also once the training base for Singapore Start Light Unit and Taiwanese police officers.
In recent years, staff at Ching-Chuang-Kang Air Force Base starts to value the preservation of military history; meanwhile, fighterregiment history museum and fighter exhibition space are also added to the base. Group visits are accepted if applied according to the rules.
